A Witches of BlackBrook novel.
Review by Lisa Markson
This was such a fantastic and captivating book. The author has well defined characters especially with characters that are based on past lives. She was able to keep the reader from getting confused with switching to the past and present of each character and in my opinion the showing of the past lives enhanced the storyline. I was unable to put this down until it was finished. There were so many twists and turns I was totally shocked at some points of this book. Although after the twist was resolved it left me with a aha feeling it all made sense. I am totally wanting more and more. I would highly recommend this book by the author I definitley was not disappointed. I loved the cover of the book it was simple yet elegant. The author really created a storyline with witches that gave them strength not as individuals but made them stronger when love and family were involved. I loved how each character was inportant in the whole scheme of things that it just needed the strength and persiverence of one character to fully embrace their past and learn from it. I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future and I recommend you all try this great story. I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest and unbiased opinion.
Tish Thawer writes paranormal romances for all ages. Her magickal elements and detailed world-building are a welcome constant in every novel.
Before becoming a writer she worked as a computer consultant, a photographer and a graphic designer. She also operates a custom glass etching business, in addition to being a wife and the mother of three wonderful children.
She’s been a fan of the paranormal for as long as she can remember. Anything to do with superpowers, myth and magic has always held a special place in her heart. From her first paranormal cartoon, Isis, to the phenomenon that is Twilight, this genre has always been a part of her life.
