Review by Chelsea Ingham
This series is beyond amazing! I don’t know if I can even put into words how much I have enjoyed this series, all I can tell you is that I couldn’t put these books down.
This is the end of the series which is quite sad but it is just as good. Roya is such a strong character and I love all the sarcastic banter she always has. Her and Joseph are my favorite together the way they talk together and interact as brother and sister. It puts a smile on my face every time I read what they go through. I thought I didn’t like Aiden all that much but this book sort of changes my opinion on him, I become more accepting of him. I would like to know more about what happens with George though would be nice to maybe have a short story on him.
Again Roya’s life is pretty much put upside down and they have no idea how they are going to get out of this. I love reading about Roya and what she goes through and all the emotions and thoughts and how she critically gets through things. She goes through some tough things and faces death more times then anyone but always finds away to battle through even if that means accepting being gone. I think that’s what I love most about her is that she is okay with herself being killed but she can’t accept others deaths.
What I also really love about these books is that they aren’t rushed. They flow really well and really connect all the characters together.
Oh by the way Trey’s there father??? Great twist there knew something but not sure what. I really loved all the history Joseph and Roya find out as well as the connection behind Roya’s name. Ren also knew something was coming but wasn’t sure what that was so that was a shocker in itself.
Anyways, I really think that you should take a chance on this series because it is really well done and has adventure, mystery, and keeps you deep in the story.
I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.
Sarah Noffke is the author of The Lucidite Series. She’s been everything from a corporate manager to a hippie. Her taste for adventure has taken her all over the world. If you can’t find her at the gym, then she’s probably at the frozen yogurt shop. If you can’t find her there then she probably doesn’t want to be found. She is a self-proclaimed hermit, with spontaneous urges to socialize during full moons and when Mercury is in retrograde. Sarah lives in Southern California with her family.
